Natasha Duddy graduated from the prestigious National College Of Art And Design in Dublin, were she completes a glass degree. Since returning home 19 years ago Natasha was one of only two glass artists working in Northern Ireland. She immediately established a very successful business in the production of a unique range of fused glass and sterling silver jewellery. She also designs and produces a number of corporate gifts and awards for high end clients, such as Councils, Mayors, Education Boards, Health Trust Organisations and several businesses and sports clubs. As part of her fused glass work, Natasha also produces a range of giftware and sculptures, some of which are for exterior and interior viewing.
Each of her pieces are designed and produced by Natasha. She hand cuts all of her work and then kiln fuses it in a process to manipulate the glass, all the time controlling the final outcome. Due to her business success and her teaching background with NWRC for 17 years, Natasha runs group and private workshops. She is a registered tutor with the Glass Society of Ireland and the Crafts Council of Ireland. She is also currently the fused glass tutor with Flowerfield Arts Centre, in Portstewart and has been for the last 9 years now. Natasha attends the “Gifted” Craft Fair at the RDS in Dublin each year. This is a fair which showcases the top 500 Crafters in Ireland. Natasha has displayed in several international and local exhibitions with her work. Her work can be purchased locally in select galleries, gift/craft shops and from her personally.
